The importance of a facial diagnosis is a fundamental principle that sets us apart from many others that offer skin care treatments today. According to Oriental Medicine Traditions, internal health imbalances will reflect themselves though the skin. You must restore inner balance at the same time that outer radiant beauty is nurtured and restored. Otherwise the skin care treatments need be repeated over and over, costing both valuable time and money. Another result of not treating inner body health can be that the imbalance is driven deeper into the body and health is impared in other areas.

Longevity was of great interest to the ancient Chinese and their study was of the Tao. The age old theory of the Tao teaches us of Yin and Yang and that they are rooted within one another. When yang generates, yin grows and when yang dies the yin is stored. Like a budding tree in the spring time as the fresh young supple shoots begin to appear from the branches, and the dead bark breaks away, we are in the constant process of renewing our skin.
