OrientalMedSpa is helmed by Ms. Debra Clydesdale LAc DNBAO. Debra is a Licensed Acupuncturist & Diplomate in Acupuncture Orthopedics. She has been privately practicing and treating patients since 1991. She holds a BScEE, a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine (OM) & is a University Honors Scholar. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Holistic Nutrition to better serve those she works with.

She has specialized training as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and is a member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) utilizing the NADA protocol used worldwide in addiction treatments with specialized experience in rehabilitation facilities and at the UCLA Student Health Center. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Hellerwork Practitioner, Certified Ergonomics Compliance Director, and a corporate consultant in Occupational Safety and Health and has been a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California. She is a member of various professional and community service organizations from Rotary International to the American Association of Diabetes Educators, CASCADE - Souther California Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, American Hypertension Society and the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopoedics.

Debra expanded her training in Oriental Medicine, specializing in Anti-Aging and studying with Chinese masters in Dermatology, Cosmetology & Qi Gong as well as continuing to practice the many modalities of Holistic Health she has practiced over the years: Yoga, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Hakomi, Somatic Experiencing & Myofascial release and massage techniques. She continues to develop a synergy of treatments that are considered to be the best of the best...

She is President of the Oriental Medicine (O.M.) Rehabilitation Center and has combined it with OrientalMedSPA integrating services to treat the whole being from head to toe - inside and out. She has a main office in the West Los Angeles area and a satellite office in the South Bay/Manhattan Beach area.

In her spare time, she still pursues her creative dream as a singer/actress and has performed both off - Broadway and internationally.
